Kontent.ai was spinning out of Kentico as an independent SaaS company targeting enterprise content teams worldwide. When I joined, demand generation was still an early-stage function — the team was lean, the processes were just being established, and the ICP still being defined. The challenge was to scale all of it into something that could drive real enterprise pipeline, fast.
Working with a talented marketing team, we scaled demand gen into a full-scope function: defined the enterprise ICP, built targeted account lists, and launched an ABM motion across marketing, sales, and product. The team grew to cover inbound and outbound — backed by performance, content, and event marketing working as one engine. We scaled the website to meet enterprise buyer expectations and managed the tech stack across Pardot, 6sense, and Salesforce. Every campaign tied back to pipeline, and the combined effort became measurable proof of market traction — for customers, and for the funding round.
