Built from zero — web, ops, marketing, with friends
In this issue
VIBE was a locally-produced streetwear brand built from scratch with friends. No outside funding, no inherited infrastructure — just a clear aesthetic, a network of local makers, and the willingness to figure the rest out as we went.
I owned the e-commerce build, the brand identity, the marketing, and a share of the operations. The website was sharp, the systems were in place, the campaigns were dialed in early. What we didn't have was the time — running it alongside other jobs put a hard ceiling on scale. The reward was different: a compressed crash course in business fundamentals that no role since has had to teach me twice.
